Everyone who comes does their own inner work. Some of them also leave able to do that work with other people, and the tuition below includes the certification that makes it possible.
The work
What the five days hold.
The spine of the week is learning to tag and track the ego’s messages in yourself. Everything else rests on that, and it comes before any applied or professional material. Sterlin and Aaron teach the presence work together. Sterlin is an Eckhart Tolle School of Awakening Certified Teacher of Presence.
The full system, applied
The nine types, the twenty-seven instinctual subtypes and the Trifixes, taught as working tools you can use with people.
Experiential inner work
Fixations, passions and defense strategies met while they are running. This part happens for everyone present, whatever brought them.
Live coaching
Demonstrations with real people, then what works and what does not with each type and subtype inside a coaching relationship.
Where consciousness meets the pattern
How a person’s spiritual life intersects with the ego’s, and how consciousness changes the way a type expresses itself.
Defense strategies, in yourself and in others
Recognizing a defense as it fires, in a client, in a partner, in someone sitting across from you, and knowing what to do with it in both directions.
Working with the shadow
What a type most reliably refuses to look at, approached experientially and in the body.
Cultivating presence
Attention held steadily enough that the pattern becomes visible while it is still happening. This runs underneath the whole week.

Day One
Fixations, passions and the instincts
Tracking the nine fixations and passions, and how they express themselves through the three instinctual types in everyday life, in relationships, in conflict, and in the ways they inhibit personal growth and development. We break down the difference between essence and ego, with exercises to identify when each one is working.

Day Two
The bound instincts
A deeper pass on what Ichazo called the bound instincts, meaning the expression of an instinct that is held in place by the fixation. Participants learn to recognize the binding and to begin freeing the instinct.

Day Three
Tagging the ego in conversation
The day opens with a demonstration on a volunteer, showing how to recognize ego distortions running inside ordinary conversation and how to tag them in other people and in yourself. From there we move to facilitating self-inquiry, working in small groups. Participants learn type-specific strategies for creating awareness around the ego, and the day closes with a second live demonstration.

Day Four
Consciousness, presence and Radical Honesty
We begin with several models of consciousness development, so participants can notice what is consciousness and what is ego, and see when a stage of consciousness is expressing itself through the nine fixations. The focus then turns to helping other people out of egoic fixation, using presence, awareness and the Empathy Architects method of Radical Honesty, which cuts through the shadow aspects of limiting ego messages quickly and with compassion, leaving only the distortion. This is where the virtue and the intuitive gifts of the type come unlocked.

Day Five
The practicum
Participants work with each other to identify limiting thoughts and distortions in a full practicum that catalyzes the week’s insights.
The whole week runs on exercises, demonstrations and live in-the-moment tracking of the ego, so participants can see all of its tricks. They leave with a much deeper understanding of their own egoic fixations, of how type expresses itself through their consciousness, and with the ability to help themselves and other people out of the limiting and painful ego stories that restrain their gifts.

Those are the early figures. At standard tuition the five payments are $340, $400, $480 and $560.
Level 1 and Full close January 15th
The online coursework takes about ten weeks. Somebody starting it in March would arrive ungrounded, and the prerequisite exists to prevent that.
Returning and Certified close February 26th
That leaves thirty-four days to book a flight at a sane price.

Lodging
Attendees arrange their own. Several people shared Airbnbs last year and we put them in touch with each other, so write to us if you would like to be connected to somebody doing the same.
Food
Not provided. There are coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of the studio, and an hour in the middle of each day to use them.

Aaron Addonizio, MHR, MPA

A certified Enneagram teacher and coach who worked with Katherine Fauvre Consulting, and who ran the 2021 lexical analysis study with Sterlin. She holds master’s degrees in human relations and public administration, and she teaches the presence and inner work across the week alongside him.
